iOS8 and iPhone 6 / 6+
Apple has released iOS8 which brings new capabilities to iOS with extensions, and also the iPhone 6 and 6+ sport new screen sizes.
This post tracks the compatibility of my Apps.

Dictaphone for iOS7
A couple of weeks ago I was wondering if the silence skipping DSP technology in RSSRadio could be used for realtime recording.
Well it can and it works really well, so i'm happy to present a totally free app - "Dictaphone for iOS7"
Podcast app playback speeds
Marco Arment has posted an article on Podcast App Playback Speeds, the most interesting thing for me is just how much of an awful solution these multi playback speeds are.
This is precisely why i created the silence skip feature in RSSRadio - before you start trying to garble what you are listening to lets first take out the dead air, its surprisingly effective and frankly almost imperceptible.
